Calvados Pays d'Auge (Certified Designation of Origin), with a minimum of 4 years maturation in oak barrels. 

A caramelized apple, lightly wooded aroma. On tasting: firstly very fresh and apply, leading into a more apple-spice character. Serving suggestion: the delicate balance between wood and apple is really appreciated as a "Trou Normand" (in the middle of the meal); ideal with an apple sorbet or just taken alone.
