Calvados Pays d'Auge (Certified Designation of Origin), with a minimum of 30 years maturation in oak barrels. Apple not really predominant. On the nose cinnamon and crystallized fruit are both evident. A complex palate of apple cinnamon, with prune and quince jam flavours towards the finish. Before tasting, this Calvados has to be left a minimum of 15 minutes in the glass in order to discover all the flavours.
