A RAILWAY ENTHUSIAST'S DREAM!

Last weekend was a great effort by all the volunteers to put on a wonderful display and event. For our small part on behalf of Steamrail Victoria we had our wine tasting and sales set up in the Hobsons Bay saloon style carriage – a wine lounge on wheels! Event goers had the opportunity to taste a range of wines, sit down and relax whilst viewing heritage locomotives do their runs on the adjacent tracks. Each of the wines had a specially designed label featuring a heritage locomotive or rolling stock, which could be purchased by the glass or by the bottle as a memento. Fingers crossed that we can do it all again in 2 years time!
